Circular Economy
Our Aim is to bridge the gap and close the loop through continual use of resources, use "waste" generated from one process as "raw material" for the next. This reduces the amount of waste as reused, refurbished, repaired and remanufactured materials are produced from the waste collected.
Aarambh #1
The Eco Factory Foundation(TEFF) undertook its maiden and online conclave- 'Aarambh #1- Sowing the Seeds of Sustainability', in collaboration with the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce on December 17, 2021. TEFF is also the knowledge partner in this conclave. This exclusive conclave was attended by audiences from diverse sectors. With 1000+ registrations, 25 speakers, and 5 sessions spread over 9 hours, this event was quite successful.
Green Cover Initiative
- Use barren land to grow food forest through edible landscaping with biodegradable waste created on and within the campus.
- Restoring forestation and greening the open lands.
- Creating greener, cleaner, healthier cities by creating cleaner, greener, sustainable campuses.
- Develop and implement waste management policies for each campus.
Interaction of IIT Delhi & IIT Powai students with TEFF
Panel member at Tech4 Seva - a joint initiative of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and Vijnana Bharati otganized by IIT Delhi from 10-12th August 2019 in Delhi. Eco Warrior of TEFF enlightened them about waste management practices, reduction of daily carbon footprint and importance of healthy living.
